My wonderful friend and new teacher, Gloria at Foods and Flavors of San Antonio, has given me (and many wonderful others) the Superior Scribbler Award. It's funny because in my heart I have always wanted to be a writer but I never pursued it, nor did I think it was something I could ever do well. So I was secretly ecstatic/flattered/thrilled/bowled over to receive as my first award the one that addresses my secret dream! I know it's not really all about that, and I think I overuse the comma like no other, but still, it makes me smile! So I say a huge Thanks!!A side note here: when I created the "I Made Your Recipe And I Loved It" award, I put my blog name on it. Not to take credit, but because I had the idea of somehow creating an ever growing list of awardees that people could find here. I thought that I could get the ball rolling. Imagine my delight as I continued my blog-education and went to the originator of the above award. Low and behold, she had created my vision! Hurray! It can be done! So I am in the process of revamping my sister site RecipeBliss.com(just the recipes) to host said list and the award will be revamped as well. I'll keep you posted!

It started as a way to keep my friends and family up to date with pictures on my personal site. I have have the website for about 10 years and finally converted it to a blog for easier posting. Then I just fell in love with blogging, I felt like it was what I had been looking for all along, so I converted my sites to blogs. I have had the chefbliss website for about 5 years but blogging it truly fulfilled the passion!
